February KYO Concert...featuring moi!

Hello Everybody,

I would like to extend an invitation to all of you to come out to one of the two KYO concerts this February. In addition to an awesome program, which includes Bizet, Dvorak, Sibelius, and Rossini, I will be performing the first movement of Weber's 1st Concerto for Clarinet in F minor with the orchestra. It would be really great to have fellow clarinet players there cheering me on. Here are the Details:

Market Hall, 336 George Street North, Peterborough
Tickets Available at Titles Bookstore or Happenstance in Lakefield. We might be able to work some deal where Scott can hook you up with tickets at your lesson if these places are inconvenient.
Concert and Reception at 3:00 PM

Sunday, February 24, 2008
Crombie Theatre, 200 Albert Street South, SSFC, Lindsay
Tickets are available at the Lindsay Public Library
Concert at 3:00 PM

Hopefully afterwards we can have a bit of a victory celebration, as it is highly likely I will need a stiff one lol.

P.S. If you don't know the piece, do me a favour and don't listen to it lol I will already have one person in the audience who knows every single note

Excellent self promotion - I'll make sure they all have scores to study from in their lessons!!

why thank you! I was told in an Email from Shelley that word of mouth is the best promotion for this type of concert.

Wow Maddy, thanks for your heartfelt support. Its wonderfully selfless people like you that make the world go 'round . It might also be cool if you invited some of the more advanced clarinet players from your school who may want to restock the clarinet section next year, so you don't have to play all by your lonesome.
